IoT Solutions World Congress
Tuesday, October 16, 2018, GMT-0700 - Thursday, October 18, 2018, GMT-0700
IoT Solutions World Congress brings IoT providers and industry leaders together in a collaborative and inspiring environment to encourage real digital transformation, productivity across the industry, networking, and collaboration.
After three editions, the event has grown to become the global reference for industrial IoT, and the annual meeting for industry stakeholders to establish new partnerships. With an exhibition spanning 2 halls across 32,000 m2, the 2018 edition will continue to explore the latest industrial IoT innovations to bring visitors the necessary cutting-edge expertise and strategies to capitalize on IoT featuring over 300 exhibitors.
TCG member companies Mocana and Wibu-Systems will provide live IoT security solution demonstrations at the TCG booth in Hall: Pabellon 2, Street: A, Level: 0, Stand Number: D485 during exhibitor hours.

Industrial control systems (ICS) and IoT are threatened by cyber attacks. Hackers are able to bypass network defenses and compromise devices with weak authentication. In this demonstration, you’ll learn about common attack vectors on industrial IoT equipment and how defend against them by implementing the Trusted Platform Module 2.0 technologies to ensure the highest level of authentication assurance using a hardware-based, cryptographic root of trust.

Protecting IP in the IoT Age with Trusted Computing
As value in the IoT powered supply chain is being transferred from hardware to software, the number of counterfeiting, tampering, and espionage incidents is on the rise, while countries’ GDP is eroded by product, know-how, and data piracy. Wibu-Systems’ CodeMeter encrypts software, firmware, and data; cryptographic keys are stored in secure hardware elements (dongles, memory cards, ASICs, or TPMs). The software license lifecycle management can also be seamlessly integrated in back office processes to further enhance the monetization process and significantly reduce the bottom-line costs related to logistic and service aspects.
Additionally, Oliver Winzenried, CEO and founder of Wibu-Systems, will be taking part in two panel discussions, respectively in the healthcare and manufacturing tracks:
- Embracing the Challenges Posed by Modern Connected Medical Devices on October 17th, 11.30 am to 12.15 pm, room 5.
- Secure Grip for PLCs on the Road to Enhanced Security in the Connected Age on October 18th, 10.25 to 11.10 am, room 1
