Asguard Networks, Hewlett-Packard, Infineon Technologies, Juniper Networks and Wave Systems Will Talk Trusted Clouds and Mobile Devices, Virtual Smart Cards, Security Automation and ICS Security
PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 15, 2014 –Member experts from the Trusted Computing Group will present a half-day session for attendees of the Trusted Cyber Collaboration Workshop Sept. 24, 2014, in the Washington, D.C. area.
The workshop is hosted by the Transglobal Secure Collaboration Program, or TSCP, a government-industry partnership that addresses the compliance, complexity, cost and IT security risks inherent in large-scale, multi-national collaborative programs.
The session offers attendees a comprehensive look at the role of trust in security and ongoing industry standards and initiatives to enable trust.
Steve Hanna, Infineon Technologies, will provide an overview of Trusted Computing and adoption. He will be followed by a presentation on trust and the cloud, by Michael Donovan, Hewlett-Packard.
Lisa Lorenzin, Juniper Networks, will provide an update on security automation, including TCG support for the SCAP standards. She will be followed by updates on new standards from TCG for industrial control systems security from David Mattes, Asguard Networks.
John Fitzgerald, Wave Systems, will close the session with a case study on the use of the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) as a virtual smart card.
Attendees will have an opportunity to review demonstrations of TCG standards in available solutions and products in a demo session.
